Worked on a newsletter!

I have Covid, but still wrote a really long email, guys. I'm calling it good.

I've been sick (allergies, I think) and busy and it's been a minute. Wrote on some newsletter stuff today.

The next 4-5 days will be busy here and I'm not sure I'll get my writing done. We'll see.

I also wrote a technicalish blog post as well as a more regular follow-up post to that one, which will be published on Monday. Do I get extra credit?

I did a small bit of writing in relation to my revamped and resituated blog.

A chill evening
Gather the flammables
They are necessary

The spark is set
The paper alight
Fan and oxygenate

It looks good
It grows

It recedes

It's gone

The first time
Invariably a hiccup
A bump on the path
Almost expected

Collect more detritus
From the recycling bin
Friction to the match

There it is
Again getting brighter
Warmer
Hotter

More fuel now
Feed it
The burn will last
As long as it is tended
