Hello there! Do you have a daily practice? Would you like your own page like this? Do you like dolphins?

Logbook

I have not kept my streak. I’ve even dropped my daily two-sentence journaling. Hoping to get back to it this week.

Back to morning pages. I've found my written thinking lately to be really searching around for a way to focus on what I believe to be my values and priorities.

Been a bit. A little journaling.

Journal, journal, journal.

I typed something out on my phone in the parking lot of a Walmart. As you do.

Decent amount of journaling today, so I'm going to call it #done.

Nice morning pages and now I vacation. Suspect I will miss a day(s) during that time!

Today I wrote ~750 words in iA Writer again as well as a blog post about nerdy programming stuff.

Today I transitioned to writing morning pages (née 750 words) in iA Writer. I really like 750words, but, while badges are cool, I don't think they are extra motivating to me. Maybe if there were more social-encouragement features with people I know? The main thing is to write a bunch of words most days, and I'll keep trying to do that.

I have been feverishly transitioning my note taking to Obsidian, and I tried to write these morning pages there, but the design is not very motivating. Turns out the design of 750words and iA Writer make a difference in my desire to put text to the page.

I wrote what I think is a reverse golden shovel featuring the opening lyrics to Don't Stop Believing. It was terrible, but I like the golden shovel form and I think I'll write a lot more poems using it.
